Requirements - Building / Property Maintenance Specialist

Salary: $15 - $20 an hour - Job Type: Full-Time

• Must be 21 + year old.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must possess valid Texas driver’s license which will meet insurability requirements.
• Applicants must pass background check, pre-employment drug screen.
• The position may be required to work overtime and/or extended hours.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• EPA / HVAC Certification (Required)

Responsibilities - Building / Property Maintenance Specialist

Work in the basic trades to ensure that facilities are properly maintained. Must have strong working knowledge, certification/training in HVAC, and working knowledge of plumbing. Duties also include a variety of other trades (i.e., light mechanical, carpentry, painting, electrical, and door hardware and closers.)

• Will execute and perform work orders in a timely manner as assigned by the supervisor.
• Performs preventive and routine maintenance to provide continuous, uninterrupted services.
• Resolves immediate operational and/or safety concerns without haste.
• Ability to work with ladders, hand/power and other equipment at work sites.
• Skilled in determining the types of tools, equipment and materials required to complete a job.
• Ability to keep detailed records and reports.

Ideal Skills - Building / Property Maintenance Specialist

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Plumbing training (Preferred)
